Toko, You didn't take into account that they will supposedly also get $800 million in cash. A deal to salivate over if you are part of the buying group. s. P.S. I also think that this will make companies like HDD and Maxtor more valuable. The whole sector must improve in the long run if this group is to make out like bandits in an IPO in a couple of years. They can't sell Seagate back to the public at a PSR of 1 if the rest of the sector is only trading at a PSR of .15 or .2. Of course, that only applies to survivors. And there will undoubtedly be more valleys between now and then.
