Hope you're right... but remember, end of month 'window dressing' works in reverse as well, you yank the ugly ones out of the showcase! That's today and tomorrow, I'll be buying for that, and we'll see if I'm lucky enough to take advantage of your prediction as well.

I think you're becoming dogmatic! We all know that uncertainty reigns supreme. Especially here with the markets so dicey. Also the probabilities are in favour of a rally in gold and XAU - how washed out do you want it to be?

FCX dropped almost 10% the other day and it is almost 10% of the XAU, so it gave the index a little extra nudge down yesterday. It has dropped from 21-to-13 year-to-date, which equals about a 4 point impact on the XAU.
