Hi Wayne,

Nobody indeed! What am I -- chopped liver? <LOL>

The problem is that few people take the time to read and understand the financial data. A change in revenue recognition criteria should have no affect whatsoever on the company's valuation (which rationally should be based on cash flow).

But as GV Tucker pointed out to me, it is the failure of people to read and understand financial statements and accounting principles that creates opportunities for the rest of us.

****

Watching CTXS very closely now. If it dips into the low 50s it could be a buying opportunity.

TTFN,
CTC

Hey, Wayne, I'll add my "harrumph" to that of Chuzz: I come back from a few days away to find out that I'm "nobody"? LOL!!!!

I'd add to Chuzz's response that the analysts are probably figuring that the VRTS deal will call fresh attention to the whole storage software market. Assuming that the first quarter's results are good and clean, they are betting that the stock will continue to move higher.

"We" sure fooled Wit SoundView, didn't we? I think it won't take long for them to pull that 'Buy' rating. Later this morning, most likely.

And how soon will it be before Analyst Mendelson is charitable toward LGTO again? Not real soon, for sure.

Low this morning has been $18 5/8 -- close to 60% off. Oversold, definitely. Being oversold, however, hasn't helped MSTR, POWI, ACVC, or CGN. Many other tech stock owners must feel like Year 2000 is the year of Russian roulette. That won't be good for the NASD Comp. average at all.

Y2K didn't disintegrate computer systems; it shorted out all the neurons in the brains of accountants, instead.

Only one conclusion fits here, and it's an understatement because this is a family newspaper: DAMN!!!!!

>>And if these sales reps were doing millions in side deals, where were their managers? Sleeping on their stock options? Staff restructuring should start with them. Now let's find those sales reps' overseas bank accounts. Reimbursements are due!<<
