In the takeover stocks I follow there generally seems to be a 20% discount to the takeover price. SEG fits the pattern.

Which is a runnup close to the deal price right after announcement and then a slip back to about 80% of deal's worth. This gap closes, the closer the deal gets to being consummated. Most of the gain will come near the end of the process. (It's not linear.) This is my observation - I have no empirical studies to back it up. And so my opinion is that SEG shareholders can expect to see SEG stock track VRTS stock price. SEG will mostly trade at 80% of the deal's worth ($5 +.47xVRTS). Again, jmo based on what I've seen with a number of other takeovers recently.
