As usual that clown didn't give any reason. Remember? He was the clown who "broke the rumor" that AOL was going to buy ATHM. Broke the rumor! Why would anyone give him any credence. When you have an incompetent public fool make silly baseless comments, you know he must be "breaking another rumor".

"The ?deal? announced yesterday involving Excite@Home, AT&T [T], Comcast [CMCSK], and Cox Communications [COX]benefits all but one party."

You are correct, Mr. Prigel. There was one party left out and that was AOL. T and ATHM are necking in the Ford's back seat while AOL is sitting in the cold watching for the park ranger.

Sour grapes, Mr. Prigel? How about an article on how this agreement affects your beloved AOL?

Gang- You should take a look at the T/ATHM bashing this dude has done over the past year. Pretty disgusting that a person in the media can't be a little objective.

Excite@Home Shafted Mar 30 2000 Yesterday?s deal was an awful one. Get out before the ceiling falls.

This guy is a jerk. Listen to the write up he gives about himself on his bio page:

Kevin graduated Summa Cum Laude from Texas Christian University in five semesters, with a perfect 4.0 GPA. He holds a Bachelors of Business Administration in Finance and Accounting, and his accomplishments in the academic world include the Rensellaer Polytechnic Medal for Science and Math, the Tandy Technology Scholar award, and a National Merit Scholarship. He was featured in Time magazine--which cited him as one of the "Brightest, Most Innovative Minds In America Today"--and The Wall Street Journal has featured him under the headline, "At 20, [Prigel] Moves Markets."

I am sick of this guy. The last line should say "At 20. Prigel manipulates markets."
