"in any event, for AOL, 80 BY THE END OF MAY! cb"

Unfortunatly, you ARE back on track, CB.

I agree with you on Maria. Roy Bloomberg was good when he had that spot. The rest of the crew is just a bunch of actors and not very good at that.

CB. I like to watch CNBC for the analysts that come on just to know what THEY are thinking about my cos. or any others. You are able at times to find nice stocks to research. And when I get ready to buy some stocks, I like to watch the tape for a cpl of days unless I know of some fantastic news or bad news which takes immed. action.

I found it very interesting that Joe Kernan kept a low profile today. His voice was almost soothing. gg. Nobody even bashed AOL today, as far as I know. I guess it must have been due to the fact that AOL kept up pretty well in this crazy market. Listening to them, if the market will be up or will be down, is no more scientific than what we know about that. gg. IMO we should get a nice rebound soon. Maybe even tomorrow. The market ended under the support level of 4500 but came crashing back through 2 other support levels. Maybe it signals the end of the downturn for a while.

I believe the nets would have done better this afternoon if it had not been for the Yahoo news after lunch time. But the investigation of some Yahoo practices does not look much diff. from other internet investigations. So, it could end up being a non event. Anyhow. The Naz finally made a comeback in the last 15 min.

The pundits are saying that most of this is associated with end of quarter adjustments, but I still believe it was Abby, Mobius and then of course this Tiger fund. Poor guy. Lost his way in the market. Does not understand it any more. Hello, welcome to the real world. A big chunk of the real world is now the internet world.

I believe that some of those fund managers got worried with all those statements floating around and decided to lock in profits. Maybe we will see some fund managers go bargain hunting tomorrow. And who knows what that Tiger fund liquidated. Glad to know that some assets may be transferred and he will keep his own portfolio intact. I am sure it's value stocks and not our nets.

Sonny

Dear CB: Funny you say that, I was thinking she'd look good as a dancer in a strip joint. Course, you probably dont have them in Georgia. JDN
