Did CNBC say anything about the 100 point rally at the end of the day? The Internet news - CBS MarketWatch, TheStreet.com, etc, are all still emphazsizing the Horror of It All. For example,

Nasdaq in free fall
Index on track for one its worst point losses ever
Tech selling drove the Nasdaq still lower late Thursday. The Dow fell victim to the sell-off in late action. Investors rallied into Treasurys.

And the update time was 4:01.

LOL. . .exactly. . . I had my list in front of me and picked quantities at random. . just to get those trades in as quickly as I could . . .and each at market to save time [instant execution would probably pay for itself daily]. .
Perhaps someone here can report on some software for individual investors that allows programmed trading. . . now that would have been swift.

Now we are either heroes or goats.
