The basic agreement designates a mutual supply of performance capacities. Global Crossing receives access to wide-band customer acces with data transmission rates between 2 Megabyte/s and 2.5 Gigabyte/s. Accordingly Hansenet has an option on purchases of new capacities in Europe or world-wide. Hansenet is according to own specification with approx. 120 switched 155-Megabyte/s-Festverbindungen the town center carrier with the largest urban network in Germany. The enterprise has in the Elbe city its own glass fiber network of approximately 570 kilometers length. Global Crossings approaches the distant goal with the present Treaty to structure a global network again a piece.
