noticed that it hit the "Hot Subjects" on SI . . .

I noticed a serious increase in the number of posts here in the last two days. When we get hurt, I guess we tend to squeal a lot. :-)

bw, we are at #8 on the Hot Subject list. Bravo! Didn't know our thread is so widely followed. I wonder if it is because of a lot of bookmarking or simply just a lot of traffic among ourselves (not speaking of myself today however) to ease the palpitation!

Plenty of bottom fishing opportunities today. And the Nascrap held 4450 as well. Would this be the third bottoms of the year? I remember the commodity stocks had huge runs at about the same timeframe last year. This year it is the old econ stocks. However, the commodity stocks reached their high's within a short period after gaining something like 50% over 2 months and the beaten down techs again took over the leadership rush. Going into the earning season, the techs will certainly outshine the old econ stocks. Therefore, I don't see a lot of downside left on the semi's. Sure they say all the good news about the techs have been priced in but would all the mo-mo players want to forfeit this very juicy earning season for a quick strike on the beaten down techs? I think not and they will bring the huge money flow back, at least until the tech earnings are over.

If the Nascrap breaks down some more tomorrow and it goes to 20% correction, the support would be around 4100-4200 area. If this is broken, then the next stop is 3800. With the velocity of the drop, I think we should bottom either tomorrow (300 pt drops) or by early next week intraday. Tomorrow is going to be interesting because of this overblown window dressing phenomenon. I sincerely think it is a wash with tech bottom fishers and those facing margin calls fighting it out and not the fund managers dressing their windows. For those put sellers, the time premium is as juicy as it gets tomorrow. With three weeks to go to expiration, there are plenty of 15% time premium in a lot of stocks. ADAP is one of them.
