Olu re: nasty -- was it really that nasty? I saw IBM up all day -- Yahoo held in well till the announcement on a possible 260 million dollar tax liability. I thought the 288 looked overdone for the mood -- which was nervous but not yet panicky. I expect the mood to be confused now with glimmers of false "hope" and a little relief that the "correction is over" type of rally -- and then real bloodshed and fear to come later.

<Man, today was nasty.>

As I survey today's wreckage, most of these stocks are broken - very broken. But still a way's from a logical bottom. Like going in for major surgery or chemo - necessary, but highly unsettling.

NOK/ARBA...TA?

Olu...,
Do you have any thoughts about the TA for NOK and ARBA. ARBA splits 2 for 1 after the close tomorrow, and their earnings are to be released 4/10. (I think...without looking it up!) NOK splits 4 for 1 after the close on 4/10...I hold both NOK and ARBA, and I'm trying to decide if I should sell or buy some more at these prices.
I have been away from the T.V. and computer for the last two trading days....maybe I'm wrong, but I think we are due for a huge rally in the Nasdaq. I just can't believe how much so many of these stocks have corrected. I don't use margin, so I'm not sure of the "time frame" of margin calls, but would margin selling have already have taken place...or do you think selling to get off margin will still be occurring?
Thanks for your thoughts!
