Jim I disagree to a certain extent... Looking at my records last year the last two weeks of March were bad also. I still think it has to do more with tax selling. You need 3 days for settlement and if you are using a discount broker you will need another 3-6 days to get your money. So playing it safe you need probably need 10 or more business days to get your money. Hopefully by the second week of April this selling will end. Traditionally April seems to be a good month for pennies. Will the shit hit the fan starting in June and the summer months? Who knows. I do know with the profit I've made this year I will have to sell some stocks next year. When will I do that? March of course so I can use Uncle Sam's money as long as possible. If the market is hot in January and February again I'll make a mental note to sell at the highs at the end of February or the first week of March. I'm not panicking yet and going to cash. I like most of my now 50+ stocks(is that possible) and will add to my most likeable positions and look for new buying opportunities. I did pick up some IDCP today at .60 and finally got into PENY at .09. Lakers
