Not sure if this is accurate but BASHER was prosecuted with help of RB subpoena. If you have the direct URL I'd rather have that since this was just a post from RB board.OT: Basher Prosecuted by TVCP with help of RB Bashers take note: From the Chairman, TVCP: As I have previously mentioned, TVCP had opened an action against an anonymous poster on the Raging Bull Message Board (RB). Because his identity was hidden behind the alias "the_worm06," (the worm) it was not possible to serve him with the lawsuit. Consequently we asked the Utah Courts for a subpoena requiring RB to disclose the identity of the worm. That subpoena was transmitted to the Courts of Massachusetts where a subpoena was issued from the Court and served on RB. In compliance with the subpoena RB provided our lawyers with the name of the person who had registered for the account and alias of the worm. Following receipt of this information, our counsel undertook to obtain additional public information regarding this person. The next step in the legal process was to amend the original complaint to name the person. This was accomplished yesterday morning. The following information is taken directly from the First Amended Complaint: " According to the records of Raging Bull, Defendant, Roberto Gonzalez Villasenor, Jr. ("Villasenor") has posted on the Internet under the pseudonym The Worm 06. Villasenor has been a licensed securities broker who has held two securities licenses. Over the last ten years, Villasenor has been associated with several broker-dealers as a registered broker and has also been associated with other companies involved in the financial/securities business. Villasenor is currently associated with a California company known as Villasenor Partners & Co." The Company, through its counsel, will continue to take all available legal means to prohibit the wrongful use of message boards. We have been in contact with the appropriate Federal authorities and will continue vigorously to pursue this case.
