I always wondered about these things also, perhaps in part, from the reports of red haired native Americans by early Spanish explorers. I find the knowledge Neanderthal died out without passing on their genetic info. also key in this debate.. As interesting is the fact all people now existing are so closely related. The human prehistory time line is becoming solid history.
