Fred, Several weeks I posted on this board asking contributors to give a good reason to buy AMAT, a wonderful company no argument, at the current level. No one responded. I had to assume that if those interested and invested could not come up with a reason, AMAT must be at a near term peak. Therefore I shorted. Luckily the lack of enthusiasm was a correct guide (along with other guides) and I was successful. Now at these levels of valuation or lower, does anyone have a convincing argument to purchase this stock. Please do not get me wrong, I think AMAT is an ideal company, I am just not convinced that it is an ideal stock. Also, does anyone have a buy-in target price?
