Mad2,

Looking at the most recently released figures regarding cash inflows into mutual funds (in particular, sector funds), I'm not so sure that the "cautiously optimistic bulls" aren't correct at this point. Money continues to flow into funds at unbelievable rates. Bond funds would seem to be all but ignored right now. I haven't seen the figures yet for monies flowing into index funds (as a group), but I'd wager it's also pretty darn high as well. These fund managers cannot just sit on huge cash positions, so I suspect that we'll be seeing a resurgence in some tech sectors in relatively short order. My guess is that semis, boxmakers and Internet infrastructures will be gainers, and losers will include Internet retailers and techs that aren't yet using black ink on the ledgers. JMO though...
