Personal Attacks

Well, as a veteran of these discussion forums, attacking anybody who comments negatively is par for the course. I also noticed that it's inevitably the most uninformed and emotional investors that engage in that.

The bottom line is we cannot claim that CSCO isn't prone to competitive forces. We can't discount the difficulty in the attempt to diversify and the many pitfalls that have nailed many large companies in the past. CSCO's size makes it even more difficult to control. So, things are perfect right now but it's all downhill in terms of pricing power and market share.

Finally, even if I am wrong about all the risk factors, the companies current valuation could be sliced by 90% and CSCO would still be historically expensive. I'm not predicting a 90% drop but watch for a 25% whack in the not-too-distant future. Most of the upward bounces are panic covering by shorts combined with the know-clue-about-value newbies jumping on the tail end of the bandwagon.
