Robert, *OT*

As for where the guy went to school, I don't think we should knock his school or anyone else's, for that matter. Some here probably didn't even have the opportunity to go to college, or just didn't. Let's at least give him some credit.

Let me see if I can put my remarks regarding Mr. Pringle into a context. We have a history with this guy as it relates to our interest in this stock. He has been dead wrong in every claim and with every vague thinly cloaked wink-wink-unnamed-sources-told-me remark he has made about ATHM. I bash him when he purports to know more than he does. He has proclaimed himself to be an expert and he has failed to produce results that support that boast. When someone puts up a bio like his and claims to be expert then he opens himself up for scrutiny from the public. I am doing my duty by outing him for the fool he is proving himself to be.

Now, that said. I won't call you a fool as you haven't claimed to be a stock picking genius who knows all and gives us a peek at your insight through sheer benevolence.

You're probably like me. A guy who participates in SI because you learn from a lot of smart people who have diverse experiences and are sometimes pretty entertaining. I like to think I participate according to my ability to make a positive contribution to the thread. Sometimes that is limited to berating a pesky fish. When I sink to that level it's usually because that's all I have to offer and it's kind of fun. The key here is that I don't claim to know what I don't know. Pringle does exactly that in a public forum so I have every right to expect him to perform. After all, his bio leads me to believe that he can't be wrong. Right?

ps. Regarding people going to college. The wisest person I know is 80 years old, has a sixth grade education, made millions of dollars using common sense and likes nothing more than driving his tractor around his horse farm. He's also never heard of the Internet but I bet he could give me some good advice on ATHM.
