<Can someone give me a concise explanation as to why the price of G* is so depressed? >

Sorry Jim, I can't help with concise, but here are some options:

More sellers than buyers [Jon Koplik]

FUD

DCF calculations based on slow sales so far, projected into the future, showing this is the right price

Ignorance

I haven't got more money to keep buying

Iridium and ICO made ignorant people panic

Margin calls

'Technical traders' who believe that yesterday's price determines todays [watch them get a fright went their shorts get ripped off them and they are standing naked]

Delays in start of service [it was supposed to start last year]

Impatience [7 minute investors like Valueman - that's a joke = he waited 4 years and got sick of the BS]

Stuff like that.

I can tell you that you are looking at a graph [assuming you are] which is going to look a lot like Qualcomm's.

The share price has gradually increased, but with fairly large swings, from $3 in 1995 [my average until last week when I went big at $15 1/8], to a peak of $53 and now back to mid and low teens. Some time between now and 2002, you are going to see a vertical graph [going up not down] and you will either go shopping for a Gulfstream [in which your Globalstar phone will work] or kick yourself for missing the next QUALCOMM.

Well, I think that's concise!
