From AMG data:

3/24/00: Equity Fund Inflows exceed $100 Bil YTD
First Quarter inflows to Equity Funds exceed $100 Billion for the first time on record.

Year-to-date Equity fund inflows topped $100 Billion in the week ended 3/22/00, as near record inflows for the week reached $13.7 Billion. The focus on Technology continued unabated.

Large Cap Equity Index Funds, which represented 33% of Equity inflows in 1998 and 42% in 1999, have accounted for less than 4% of Equity inflows year-to-date.

Earlie -

www7.tomshardware.com

"...Predictably, our recent series of Rambus articles triggered criticism from Rambus proponents. Morgan Stanley Dean Witter (MSDW), the underwriter of Rambus, Inc.'s initial public offering (IPO) in May 1997, has been, as you would expect, a strong supporter of Rambus and RDRAM. A few days after we published "Dissecting Rambus," and as Rambus's stock prices were sliding sharply, MSDW analyst Mark Edelstone was questioned by ON24 about our article. He reportedly replied that it was "short on facts."

Soon afterwards Mr. Edelstone released a widely quoted bullish Rambus forecast with a 12-18 month price target of $500 a share. Perhaps he is correct, perhaps he is not, but we will take another look at the "facts" our reports reveal as well as examine the facts in Mr. Edelstone's forecast..."

Regards, Don
