Bonn, April 2 (Bloomberg) -- Deutsche Telekom AG on Monday will announce the price range for the initial public offer of its T-Online International AG Internet unit, setting the tone for the unit's future as well as Europe's ailing Internet IPOs.

"Telekom plans to sell about 9 percent of Europe's largest Internet access company to raise expansion funds. Reports have placed the price as high as 50 euros ($47.87) a share, which would value the company at 55 billion euros. Analysts and investors want a price of 30 to 35 euros, or a total of as much as 38.5 billion."

"He said he expects a calculated stream of acquisitions and partnerships to support the share price following the sale."
