I didn't see Charlie last night. Sounds like it was an interesting interview.

Although many of us might agree that Cisco's PE is high and may affect the price of the stock going forward I don't base my buy or sell decisions on PE only. A lot of value investors don't understand growth stocks and should stay away from them.

Cisco's growth in market share and it's growth potential overall is what I'm concerned about as a long term holder.

Cisco's fundamentals have gotten stronger over time. The majority of the other competitors can't say that! They have disappeared! I see a lot of startups that have the opportunity to grow and if some people here are gamblers they can buy them. I don't need to.

We have to understand the sea change that is occurring in our society that is being driven by technology. This has got to be the greatest time of change for humanity and the world. The opportunities are enormous! Everything in communications is going through change right now and what just blows my mind away is how far reaching this will be going forward.

All of this change is scary and exciting for all of us.

I wonder what things will be like 100 years from now?
