If Only. . .I am upset that the SEC is so corrupt that it can continue to target individual investors. . and continue to add internet enforcers. . .yet turn a blind eye to the shenanigans and downright fraud by bigtime Wall Street analysts and others that appear in interviews. . .we have all seen it. . .

I want to know exact positions of analysts and journalists 3 days before their report and 3 days afterward. . .even if it is simply placed in an SEC filing. That would at least allow us to compare their words with their deeds.

And while I am for fewer governmental controls in our personal lives. . . I am for MORE when it comes to the stock markets. . . due to the well known corruption that dominates this industry.

As for Tokyo Joe. . .I much prefer hearing the points of a legal trial than a kangaroo court. . . and don't forget that manipulation is manipulation, whether you make a call and concerted play from your private site. . .that is long or short. . .

This case is important, in that it will determine the future of those that charge hundreds of dollars per month to give advice on stocks. . .

And regarding those that play AGAINST their own, whether on long or short calls, something I call cannibalism. . . .this should never be tolerated. . . and should ALWAYS be reported instantly to the SEC. . .

And I can assure you that with the SEC so hot on the trail of those charging hundreds per month for private sites. . . there are some other well known names. . perhaps even those that you like. . . that will suddenly disappear from cyberspace. We have already seen a dozen or more names disappear from SI in the past few years.

Re Tokyo Joe: I would have to agree with you as to the case against him. Especially if the SEC can prove that while telling clients to buy... he was in fact selling... as has been alleged. They are going to try and make an example of him I think. Whether or not they are successful I do not know... but I certainly wouldn't predict an all out dismissal.

FWIW, I also agree with you regarding market direction. I think anybody buying high flyers yesterday near the close with the intentions of anything other than a scalp is likely to get burnt. I'm looking for around Naz 3750 or so during the month of April.
