Sonny, if you had bought AMAT in '94 instead of "following" it you wouldn't be making your decisions based on inputs from strangers on a stock chat board, you'd be quite well off. I've owned some shares of AMAT for over 12 years, with a compounded average annual return over 39%.
The outlook for AMAT as we speak has never been better, so you can diddle around looking for an "entry point" or you can get in and watch your money grow over the long haul. Its a documented fact people lose money trying to time markets, but maybe you and your market timing advisors will be the 7% exception.
