I think T2 us in denial and I'm not joking, with all due respect to T2. Nasdaq down 56 points, JDSU 109. OUCH

Greg,
Agree on eventual $100 support for JDSU - we may not make it there today. I wouldn't be surprised to see a big run into the close with some MM's getting a nice ride from these levels.

Greg, You could be right but I doubt it. I am just trying to pick my options opportunities. Gains in stock price is not really how I make money. I usually go for the options at the right time. Now is the right time, IMHO. I am reluctant to play short term options on JDSU but the big caps (NOK, INTC, MSFT), it is a no brainer and that is where i have focussed. However, I have still bought long term calls on JDSU recently.

The most money is really made on the explosive upward moves in my case. I watch the drifting down of stocks like JDSU and try to guess at the most sure bottom. If i get it within 10 to 15 points---i am happy. In that scenario we could even hit 100 momentarily but i would not care. I am looking more than 1 week ahead.

Do you not notice the wave after wave of bears on CNBC talking about the market getting rational..blah blah blah.

If you remember the past selloffs---the bears came out with their incredibly gloomy predictions. To me that is too good an opportunity to pass up and not buy. The fear factor they are able to generate is an important factor in my decisons. I am noticing it here on SI and other message boards.

Remember there are also a lot of people that could be short this market even while inflows into tech funds continue.

Greg, I did not comment on the B2B and B2C but I don't really play those stocks--except Yahoo and sometimes AOL every September to January.

I cannot see the comparison of JDSU to B2B or B2C. Instead, i put in more in the category of the semiconductors or the networkers like Cisco or Nortel.

That is why I still hold JDSU while I don't hold AOL, EBAY, Ariba, I2 or Yahoo.

. First it was B2B, then it was BIO, then it was B2C now it could be optical..

Merrill already did that a couple of weeks ago.
She's going higher into EPS.

<<JDSU could make it to the high 90s before the selling stops. >> Tuesday morning should be low for the Naz and JDSU, climax today with spill over tuesday morning, JDSU into the high 90s, unless of course we are in something longer then a short bear market. THank the market gods we are close to earnings season!
