ip,

To be fair, you did not sell them. They were called out.<g>

Too true! But when CTXS reached 52 1/2 and I was given a premium for my calls of 7 1/2 it was too good to pass up given the fact that I believed at the time that CTXS was worth around $35 - $40. Remember that there was a phenomenal run from around $30 to over $50 in just a few days. But none of us can predict what the momentum players will do, and they now appear to be leaving CTXS in droves.

The marketplace has been truly odd. Up until recently I have not been a trader. But as valuations of many stocks have become more and more extreme I felt that it was prudent to take profits because I felt that those valuations could not possibly be maintained over the long run. The result is that I have been building cash since November, and it is now about 40% of my portfolio.

We've seen a number of startups with "going concern" qualifications on their financial statements. If a few more companies have similar problems this provide the catalyst for a major NASDAQ correction.

TTFN,
CTC
