H James: I am not negative on the US economy, I am overly positive. It is "unstoppable" -- which is why have an increased recession risk. We could see seven interest rate increases before this is over -- some will be half-point moves. This is NOT in the market. It is the increasingly likely need to stomp on the brakes that is the risk. Reluctance to do so does not solve the problem. Waiting for a "natural" slowdown with this baby steps approach is not working. Good luck - and buy Japan today.
