>>Chung: re forced margin sales -- I would guess that forced margin sales were not much of a factor yet -- that could change if we get some really ugly action in the next few weeks. For now, its anybody's guess where we go from here -- looks like up for a week oor two. Good luck.

I disagree, a lot of high flyers were down 30 -60%, and most of them are under 50-70% margin rules, you don't think last few days actions didn't cause massive margin calls?

New Use For Gold Expected To Push Gold to $2,000 per ounce
****************************
Experts from the United States Department of Defense announced plans
to make bullets for all weapons out of pure gold. "We all know the
history behind the Lone Ranger's silver bullets - those were awfully
powerful". Tests with the new golden bullets prove conclusively that
gold, in bullet form, shoots just as straight as the older steel
bullets. In government tests the golden bullets performed much
better. Soldiers testing the bullets hit targets 90% more accurately
because they were told that any ammunition not fired was theirs to
keep. With this new level of accuracy, our nation will be defended
much better. Once production starts, the demand for gold will surge
and gold prices are expected to soar.
