ten,

For a guy who's thinking short-term like Scumbria, I don't think INTC would fit his investing style. Am I right, Scumbria?

Absolutely. I seriously considered putting a big chunk of cash in INTC in 1992, instead I put it in MOT. Had I done that, I would be quite comfortable now and wouldn't have to think about trading. Because I didn't and lost a lot of time, I'm more interested in higher returns like I'm getting from AMD options.

Of course I would make more money if I just stuck with growth stocks like INTC for the long term, but I like trading too much. Guess I'll never learn. ;^))

SCUMbria - or better, DUMBria - used to make frequent posts last year, when Intel was pre-split at $72/share, such as " Intel has performed no better than a savings account for the past year".

That was when AMD was going NEGATIVE !!!

Anyhow, Intel went from a pre-spilt of $72 - which is $36 - up to $132 today .

However, DUMBria will pick some convenient stock price at a point in time to make yet another spurious and specious derogatory statement about Intel's stock performance.
