JDN, >Actually, what I was thinking, (thats all it is not even a rumor just my INTERNAL thoughts) was that Veritas plans ultimately to sell the disc drive division directly to EMC after the dust settles from taking it private and in the event they suffer a loss on the sale not having to put it on their P&L statement. I hope not. Why would a high margin systems and software company like EMC want to buy a commodity product company that's in a vicious, cutthroat market? Man, if EMC got temporarily hit by the DGN buyout, a Seagate buyout would really knock it for a loop. JMO, of course. Tony
