I agree with your list, but you didn't add the sudden concern over the dot coms with poor models running out of cash. This isn't exactly new news, but if you say it often enough it starts to sound like it is. "There may be other reasons too. This morning some goofball pundit was gleefully announcing to all on CNBC that the bubble has finally burst." Shouldn't someone hand out the bursting bubble awards? It could feature a small figure getting crushed under the bubble he's been predicting would burst for years. We can start with Barons.
