Friday's selloff may have been aggravated by the IPO of Arrowpoint. There seemed to be ongoing selling pressure through the day even as the overall NASDAQ was moving up. I'm wondering about the cost/benefit comparison of F5's software appliance solutions compared with hardware switches with integrated web traffic functions ala Alteon, Arrowpoint, Foundry. The flexibility of F5's approach would seem to favor it as an add-on to existing systems, but perhaps the integrated switches offer better value for new installations. Can anyone provide more technological insight into the company's business model and competitive position? Baird
