My thoughts that I stole from another on AMZN's patents<G>

"Microsoft to Patent the Numbers Zero and One
******************************
All computer programs are processed on the binary level. Binary code
consists of long strands of Zeros and Ones. All of Microsoft's
software programs are written in this binary code and therefore the
company has applied to the U.S. Patent office for protection of its
valuable assets. When the patent is approved all companies and people
will be prevented from making reference to or using the numbers "one"
and "zero". Expected to be the hardest hit will be first grade school
children who will no longer be permitted to say they are in first
grade. "We're sorry for the inconvenience it will cause these
children, but they will soon learn to live with the new name for
first grade: "post kindergarten, pre-second grade."
