If X-box uses SSE, AMD better support it as well for games.

But all this talk about what will compete with what seems to be a thing of the past, IMO. AMD now sets the standards.

The new AMD is not even a year old and Intel is hardly dead. niceguy talks about a paradigm shift....but that's in the price, not in the business. In the next year, we will know if there is a new order to things and whether the new AMD is here to stay.
