I'll go for a consolidation period on JDSU for a 3 to 4 weeks...

I sure don't know how you can think that. The Nasdaq just got pounded. JDSU is 20% off the high and going into what will probably be stellar earnings. I guess we'll see. Your shot -- 8 ball in the corner looks good.

Greg: I'm not disagreeing with you about the next three weeks w/r/t JDSU. We may have some sideways trading. And, you are right, if the tech market pops, JDSU will too -- as it is still THE hot stock right now in the hot space imo. That, of course, can change in a heartbeat. But if it does pop it just may take out old highs...as they are not that far off. Now, I do disagree with some things in your post. IMHO the difference between a normal consolidation (that may take up to 60% or so off recent gains) and a revaluation of a rev and earnings model involves much more than semantics. In the former, the company very well may be running to new highs after the consolidation is through. In the latter, it may or may not be the case as the street's expectations for the company have fundamentally changed (in the case of B2B -- for the worse it seems).
