I don't think so. If the number is correct in the article, 100K of low end chip will not effect Intel's earnings, just a rounding error. The bad thing is that every one of those 100K chip is market share lose to AMD, still not that bad for Intel. It should be good for AMD's stock on Monday if street believes it.

The big question is whether this is the beginning of more things to come, or just a small order by Dell to make a point to Intel. Perhaps Dell is pulling a MSFT or GTW in order to get better pricing.
