Dear Gus: Having said all that, Sue Herrera on CNBC just had somebody from Barron's on who is doing a story on the inevitable conflict between EMC and VERITAS. That just put another twist on the farcical VERITAS/SEG soap opera, IMO. We'll see what happens.

Thank you for a detailed and professional summing up of the current disc drive situation at EMC. I am not that familiar with Veritas, I thought they were mainly a software company?? I do not understand why there would be an enevitable conflict with EMC?? Perhaps Barrons will give us food for thought next week? Personally, I would rather hear it from you!! JDN
