interesting point george. abx was trading higher b/4 the various auctions. so, having said that, who can blame abx for doing some hedging ?

this thread is too extreme on abx either way, imo...it ain't the best buy in the gold sector, but this hysteria over hedging is way overdone. i bought some abx at 16 3/16ths and sold the april 17.5 calls for 11/16ths...so my
cost base is either 15 1/2 or i sell at 17.5 in april (doubtful now but who knows) at a nice fairly quick profit...i can live with abx at 15 1/2...

George, COMEX gold warehouse stocks have been surging lately. They are now up to 1,968,092 ounces. I'm quite concerned here. I think the POG is going to plunge shortly.
