The XAU Index was modified, again ! Ashanti Goldfields and Hecla Mining were deleted, Agnico Eagle Mines added.

This drops the XAU index down to nine (9) companies instead of ten (10)!

This change was effective as of Monday, March 20th, 2000.

This makes the XAU INDEX composed of the following stocks:

ABX - BARRICK GOLD .......... 29.10% of the XAU Index.
AEM - Agnico Eagle Mines, Ltd _1.35%
AU - Anglogold Ltd. ........ 21.38%
BMG - Battle Mountain Gold .. _2.07%
CDE - Coeur D'Alene Mines ... _0.39%
FCX - Freeport McMoran Copper
and Gold .............. _9.26%
HM - Homestake Mining Corp.. _7.18%
NEM - Newmont Mining Corp. .. 17.44%
PDG - Placer Dome, Inc. ..... 11.83%
