<Why do you waste any of your precious time with SJD?>

First for a little perspective about me: I feel I have a some responsibility towards some folks I may have influenced to buy SJD: gold-eagle.com

Secondly, I'm own a nice chunk of this company, therefore I have a financial interest. Do you have a problem with that, AH? I also own a little CRU. At this point I would gladly swap SJD at a premium for more. As far as CRU goes, your argument is ludicrous, as they own half the H-B project. How exactly then do they go to other pastures? No, they are merely representing their legitimate financial interests.

Thirdly, I've been accused of some things in my life, but clueless has never been one. Mind games? Well, maybe serious ones.

Fourth, I am not going to sell my SJD shares on your recommendation. Indeed I plan on organizing and voting for changes here. Rather than just call me names, I suggest you get to work to save Terrell's job by convincing other shareholders with the facts, or that concerns addressed by me and others need to be addressed. I think you are going to need more than just your shares however.

AH, I note that under your profile: Member 4460019 that you state your investment style as "speculative, buy and pray". Obviously, we differ greatly on investment approach. I would give my style as, "speculative, buy and go to work/take action".

A.H. Such a virulent nasty outburst. Hardly called for I think.
So you like SJD, well so did I and I still believe their property has enormous potential but that doesn't mean I
am happy with the lack of progress.

I used to be content thinking they are protecting the treasury which, was and still is, one of the richest in the junior world. But I'm sorry, three years of drilling without so much as a resource calculation! The worst bear market ever in juniors and a treasury to make use of and not a single advantageous deal. An enormous property with one tiny corner explored and the rest left untouched. Then, SJD inherits a majority partner (CRU), an integrated miner with financing, exploration and production experience, including the guy who originally found the property, who has a track record and wants to help. That to me would be a smart opportunity to avail myself of but not SJD, apparently.

What I have come to realize is that during the bull run anyone with a story and a property could raise money but managing your property is whole different set of skills.
I agree there are many fine companies suffering in this climate but others who worked hard have achieved a lot where SJD has not. How about Argentina Gold, Corriente, Mansfield, Moydow, Pacific Rim, Manhattan, Corner Bay, Great Basin, Anooraq, Taseko, among others and even those who haven't had great success with their stock prices but have added incredible value to their projects a la General Minerals, Madison Enterprises, Peruvian Gold, Inca Pacific,
Eldorado and Miramar to name a few.

So I hope in the long run you get what you want from SJD but I see no reason that disagreeing with Russ should warrant the kind of personal attack that you take and maybe there are shareholders who want to hear him and aren't closing their minds to productive debate.

Best of Luck to You in your investments.

If Mike has to wait for Gold to go thru $325 convincingly - then he is like the rest of the lemmings who believe that gold is a relic and maybe it is time for Mike to plod on.
As for his salary - a check with the exchange might tell ya what companies in this category can award thier execs. I think SJD is senior bd - so more money could be spent on the bd - but check in to it.
Crew is in Africa raising interst in thier properties as we yak i think. They are looking to make mines and money even at $280 gold. TNX is drilling even at $280 gold. MNP is drilling at $280 gold. Most majors are dropping hedges. What kind of signal does the industry have to send Mike to get him to start moving into a gear other than sleepy mode?
A personal invite to the party? I have said it before and will say it again for those like AH who think Mike is a genius. That money that he has is there not because he wanted to raise it when it was. He was told to rise it based on the strength of the stock and the mkt at the time. He was prepared to go and do it later when they had more results. IF he had done this - there would be a much different song going on right now. There would be no cash in the bank. Mike can thank his lucky stars that the guys who pushed him to do a financing (and are no longer around) did it and were successful in the push!
SJD deserves every bit of unrest that they get. Look at PVO. They ahve a guy who is mkt savvy, likes to drill and look for stuff adn still incurred the wrath of a fund for all the money that they had sitting in the bank. SJD is damn lucky that no one has taken a shine to them. Mike may have looked at a thousand deals - but the best one he could understand is the chair deal. I think some real thinking needs to go into what next for SJD.
