CNN wants to talk to you about their new Asian and European web sites and pay you $75(U.S.) for your time *if you qualify* Your valuable input will be used to help CNN develop these sites. If you are a resident or a citizen of a European or Asian country please click yes below to take a brief survey. Yes, want to participate No, close window." If you click on Yes, another window opens with the following message: " News Study (#088) CNN.com has authorized Greenfield Online to conduct a series of online bulletin board discussions to evaluate a soon-to-be-launched news-oriented Web site. The 5-day, online bulletin board discussions can be accessed 24 hours a day via the Internet. The study will run during the weeks of April 17, 2000, April 24, 2000, and May 1, 2000. All participants who are selected and who complete the 5-day discussion will receive a check for $75.00 (U.S. dollars). A total of 360 people will be chosen, based on demographic and news consumption criteria, to participate in the discussion. I was at another CNN site yesterday and they had a survey which asked for commentary (optional) on the markets, and if interested could give email and telephone number for further contact. Almost sounded like they were looking for analysts -- Netconductor?? After this week, could anyone use $75 USbucks!? It may be that just living in those regions wins the dough. Or who knows, it might lead to bigger things! Don't want to insult those who don't need or want any $75. Great for College kids! there is probably an age minimum. Merry
