The TTM "PE" is 83 according to SI website.
At the top left where it has the white box next to
quote, type "CPQ"....The PE is indicated on the right
side of the chart.
Granted some other sites show TTM "PE" at 79.5.
I do not believe it to be out of date.

Projected "PE's" can be more useful in the scenario
as with CPQ (when CEO changes) if there is credible forward looking guidance to go with the forward looking "PE".

If one believes the forward looking "PE" of CPQ than they must
be one of the few on this thread who feel certain that
CPQ will not warn.

If a company does not give guidance and has a recent history
of warnings why should one feel confident with an
investment decision on that?

By default investors are left with only TTM "PE".

Maybe I did not make that clear in my last post when
discussing PE ratio in the context of value.

BTW...should CPQ ever come close to the profitability of
three years ago they will have an extremely low PE Ratio.
