Hey E. Good thing that 100 mill oz. reserve thing was posted on a Saturday cuz with the mood in the gold market
the story could have been believed and the entire gold market could have been destroyed and Alan would have pulled off what the USA and the CB's could not.
Wow that was a close one.
PS. Got to admit though my first thought was to believe it.

Couldn't help myself. I still hear stories by the way about some huge deposit of gold off some Japanese island on Kitco occasionally. I always wondered why Bre-X being false didn't help instead of hurt the gold mining industry. A Morgan Bank official was said to have speculated that the Borneo deposit was 200 million ounces. That's a lot of gold to suddenly not exist.
