<<Making tons of money>> Yeah, someone's always making money!! <gggg> This time it WAS different. I trade a number of these big money makers. And one way (not the only way) to make serious money is to wait until they come near support and buy em. Two examples from yesterday: Brcm and PMCS. If you bought them at their lows yesterday, you made money. There are other stocks like these, I am sure. But these are two I watch and I consistently make money with each one. I bought some PMCS at higher levels (208) because I love it so AND there is noguarantee it will go as low as it did yesterday. But MAKE SURE you always have enough buying power to get some stock when things get bad. Another point. These selloffs/corrections last 4 days. It's starting to get noticed, so it may not happen again. Buying on the fourth day has been profitable for me. Just my 2 cents on all this. Where do we go from here? Up, of course, Why? Because that's what the herd does. AND THE MONEY IS THERE. read IBD today. These fundumbs have cash. But I am getting ready now for the NEXT correction (will it be in 10 days?). I will buy NOTHING until the 4th day. I suspect that correction will go deeper. This one was was 20 percent worse than the last.

>>: I would appreciate a view of the foreign markets by someone who tracks them to see if my thought that the foreign markets over time have bene showing buying interest. <<

I only track the JPN web tracker for the Japanese market and the LTX Latin American market and MEX for Mexican market. While I see no true "buying interest", I have short term buy signals based on my system for the LTX and the MEX shows it at a mild support line with in a channel that is finishing a 3rd cycle within a coil.

Good Luck,

Lee

my long term portfolio : all old techs..

which makes sense because when market looks weak and people getting killed in speculative stocks, they always turn to the CSCO, MSFT, ORCL, etc.

the way i played the high-fliers was to: s/t trade, but I was put a lot of money into those high-fiying mutual funds like robert stevens emerging growth and pbh growth, etc..

when the high-techs started to come down, we took some profits in the high-flying mfunds.

let the mfund managers handle the researching of the small and mid cap high-fliers.

how did your trading system do in the recent market volatility (last few days)

I'm always checking to see if the system loses effectiveness.. constantly have to tweak if the market changes.
