Now if the wings don't fall off of technology I'll look for besting the early March highs in two to three weeks and the January highs shortly thereafter.

I once told my secretary, who was afraid of flying and asked my advice before she took a flight, that there were two basic things to understand about flying:

1. Always fly a plane with an even number of wings.

2. Don't worry if the descent or landing is bumpy; a landing is really just a controlled crash.

She didn't speak to me for awhile after that <g>

I am a big CMGI fan and am long both calls and shares. But your statement that CMGI will soar "if the wings don't fall off technology" only served to remind me that the primary risk of CMGI's business model is that the wings might fall off.

Would you fly a plane if someone told you the wings "might" fall off? Depends on your appetite for risk, I suppose -- the real question is: How likely is it that the wings will fall off. My belief is that it is very unlikely, and that if this dips below 100 and especially below 90, it will be time to back up the Brinks truck and load up. Just like last summer.
