In addition, Rentech (RNTK) just announced the signing of an MOU with FuelCell Energy (FCL) to explore the feasibility of building a 9,000 kW commercial scale fuel cell power plant at their recently acquired Sand Creek site. With Anschutz and Forest Oil on board, and Texaco expressing interest in becoming a partner with RNTK at Sand Creek, there's lots of interesting dynamics going on. This plant could be a national showcase for the potential applications and synergies of GTL, gasification and fuel cell technologies. The Howard Weil Energy Conference also starts tomorrow in New Orleans with RNTK CEO Dennis Jakobson scheduled to speak Weds AM. biz.yahoo.com
