Re. How much is a Lear Jet anyway? $10M?

Lear jets are like yachts. If you ask about the price, you can't afford it. [Just kidding]

I highly recommend fractional jet ownership rather than an out right purchase (less $$$ up front, no operations/maintenance hassles, ability to upgrade/downgrade size of jet on a per trip basis, etc).
Two really good sources are:

netjets.com (a Berkshire Hathaway company)

and

flexjet.com (a Bombardier company)

Best regards & happy flying,
Geoff
