jam2000: Before I go to www.monkeyindex.com let me make this perfectly clear; Dortmunder is a chimp, not a monkey. Call him a monkey and he takes extreme umbrage. Please keep this always in mind. I will attempt an apology for you, though I suspect it won't "take." (Lee)

One final story to my "relaxing" vacation in the Caribbean. I get on the flight back to the states. Find my row and there's a gorgeous girl sitting by the window. I just happen to love sitting by the window. But the lovely girl does not. It frightens her. "Would you mind switching seats with me" she says gently. Mind? Mind? "Of course I'll switch with you" I say. We switch and I gotta tell you there's a lotta touching, but not by me.

The plane taxis out and there's one plane ahead of us. It takes off. Then our pilot hits the intercom. "We have a slight problem that will force us to go back to the gate."

Terriic. We crawl back to the gate. Half an hour later it gets real hot, since there's no cool air flowing from above.
Nobody says or does anything. I get up, ask the pretty girl if she can er, move a bit so I can get into the aisle. More touching! I walk towards the cockpit. No pilots! I ask the stewardess if they have an idea what the problem might be. 'Cause if it's serious I should call Suzy. Also, I am in need of a cigarette. They tell me there's a problem with the engine, that it might take some time to fix. They tell me to go back to the terminal, make my phone call, take my time, 'cause we're not going anywhere soon. They also show me where to go for a smoke.

I call Suzy, tell her the problem; we might be sometime taking off, there's also a chance that if they can't fix the engine I'll have to stay over.

I return to the plane, climb over the lovely lady. More touching. I tell her what the stewardesses have told me.
She is most grateful, then says "If we have to stay the night perhaps we can share a room."

"Mmmm" I think. That would be "relaxing."

Two hours later though the problem is fixed and we take off. Oh well.
