Hi dav - not sure about Canada [not sure which side of the border you are :),] but the US people should receive the proxy by now, in which stock split is one of the proposals. At least I did.

As people, myself included, have explained to you before, b/c this is a split, NT requires shareholder's approval. My guess is that since there is so much upheaval going on, like M&A and the forecoming BCE spinoff, NT simply needs to take time to do things properly. If one is a long term shareholder, there is no urgency. If one thinks split can somehow increase the stock price by its own, one should look at the *real* history of stock split, not the phenom of the past 2 years.

NT proxy statement arrived yesterday and one of the questions to shareholders is do we approve increasing shares to effect a 2 for 1 split.
