El-- I was very bullish on CPQ until EP / EM blew my thoughts on mgmt away with lies. When Ben fired EP it looked like positive things were about to happen,, nothing of consequence happened and when MC was announced the mkt showed their feelings of an unknown & untried -- some of which seemed unfounded but all the same WS knew better, Listening to MC in the beginning indicated he really deserved the chance-- high hopes. He has had months and the chance evaporated with nothing new being accomplished. Then he has the chance to show what he is made of with the warning rumor,, he did and it just embellished my belief that cpq has been and continues to be leaderless, has no thoughts on maintaining SH equity. It has also given me more reason to believe cpq is extremely fortunate to get a CFO of the caliber they did as those in the industry do not want to work there. Too bad it was not possible to get a CEO with the strong credentials and credability this man is bringing. The plan of keeping 1K has less feeling as time goes on. Institutions may have the correct idea-- get out and stay away. With luck it has another good run or 2 this year.. hopefully high enough to allow those that want out to do so with a gain,,, Those that do not believe in history only need to hold cpq for 3 years or more to see it does not act like a tech except when they are falling and can do poorly in any type of mkt. It is for NIMBLE traders and those with a very long time frame,,
