Rude-- It seems holders of the stock CONTINUE to "get snagged" either by comments, lack of support, rumors or anything else that hits (or does not hit) the news services. Granted there is less favoritism but now there is zero guidence-- the pattern of direction is like that of a shotgun and a straight and narrow direction is required. A direction that can and does show results in a specified time frame. The few indications given such as the lay offs have not materialized and no reason given,, one must assume jet lag has influenced that time frame. You and I are on the same wave length with the options but I'll only sell as the last thing I want is another share of cpq put to me no matter what the price. AND correct again that options should only be with cash that can be lost not just here but on any issue. Now there is hope the new CFO can draw on knowlege and experience to influence more than the duties of finance and in a short time frame... possibly he can give direction to more than financial matters and will speak to WS to attempt to recapture the credability of cpq that ep/em stomped and mc has not been able to recapture.... If he can he is worth a lot more than he is being paid just as others have proven to be excessively overpaid.. past time to tie salary, options, and bonuses to shareholder equity-- possibly an additional tie to institutional ownership is also in order at this time.... or put more heads on the block.. Last,, I will be (and have been) the first to make note of anything MC does on a positive note just as I have mentioned those on a negative note or when he does nothing when IMO something is required. No one wishes more than I he deserved positive comments. I still feel he may become a great ceo but also believe he was not/is not ready for a ship this size especially in the shape it is in. Considering much of the experience at the company left due to EP/EM or along with them (not an entirely bad situation) he has little company specific background to draw on also.. not a great position to be in and probably one of the reasons few would consider the position,,
